28 Weeks Pregnancy Update

Today's Date: Thursday June 25th

Due Date: September 14th 2015

Days until Due Date: 11 Weeks and 3 days (81 days to go!)

Weeks Pregnant: 28 Weeks Pregnant

Trimester: 3rd Trimester!!!! Time flew by!

Weight: 150 lbs. - 18 lbs now. Hoping the weight will slow down a little!!!

Size of baby: Mason is the size of an Eggplant or head of Cauliflower 16 inches 2.5 lbs.

Told anyone? Everyone

Showing? For sure, Belly button still not an outie yet :/ I don't know why but I want one haha

Baby Milestones: Mason can dream now! And he has eyelashes and is blinking. Coughing, Sucking, Breathing. Starting to face downward to prepare for birth.

Symptoms: This week I was greeted with Charley Horse Calf cramps and braxton hicks in the middle of the night. I was dehydrated again and needed electrolytes. Fixed it with some coconut water, vitamin water, prenatal vitamins, no more tums, salt bath and lavender massage. Also swelling when its hot and soooo tired this week.

Cravings: Bean cheese and rice burritos. Corn on the cob. Doritos Chips and Hot Cheetos again which I refuse to eat.

Aversions: Nothing really

Best Moment this week: Feeling him hiccup daily and his kicks and rolls getting so strong. Also going to La Fondue for dinner with Steven and sampling ALL of the meat. Alligator, Kangaroo, Elk, Buffalo, Bison...all of it. I felt sooo bad about the kangaroo I almost cried.Oh AND visited a midwife and learned more about labor and delivery options :)

Looking forward to next week: Just enjoying the weekend :)

Emotions: Sooo emotional lately. A total rollercoaster. One minute I'm laughing hysterically with tears and the next I am crying and sad. I think its the stress of trying to find a house to rent and moving before the baby. I really want to only work part time after the baby so we need to find somewhere cheap enough yet big enough to be in for a couple years until we buy a house.

Stretch Marks: Not yet! Still applying cocoa butter and almond oil twice a day, staying hydrated and scrubbing with my homemade coconut oil, lemon oil salt scrub in the shower daily. Hoping they never come but willing to deal with whatever I must in order to have a precious little boy, these bodies are so temporary and always changing. But being a mother will last for eternity!
